A Europe-based leading cement manufacturer with a large manufacturing capacity, part of the top 3 large cement manufacturing company.

Engineering Requirement

The client aims to utilize lean gas as fuel, requiring a 4.0 km, 8-inch pipeline from the pressure regulating and metering facility to a new distribution station. This gas pipeline detailed engineering project focuses on efficient, reliable natural gas delivery, emphasizing operational sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

Detailed Engineering Of Gas Pipeline Scope:

Front End Engineering Design (FEED):

  • Define project scope, costs, and timelines.
  • Develop a comprehensive design basis for all engineering disciplines.

Detailed Engineering:

  • Process: Create PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists, and process data sheets. Perform relief load and process design calculations.
  • Civil & Structural: Analyze geotechnical data, design foundations and steel structures, and prepare earthwork procedures.
  • Electrical: Establish electrical design basis, layouts for grounding, cable trays, and lighting, with load calculations.
  • Pipeline: Develop pipeline profiles, mechanical design reports, cathodic protection, and road/river crossing details.
  • Instrumentation: Define design basis, instrument data sheets, control room layouts, system architecture, and integration plans.

Construction Supervision:

Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.

Procurement Support:

Manage RFQs and procurement processes for materials and equipment.

Miscellaneous:

Participate in HAZOP studies, ensure firefighting provisions, and conduct constructability reviews.
